About me
The work
since 2000
I started studying at the European Institute of Design in Milan and graduating from 2000 with the thesis project Loin Clock In collaboration with the Cronostar by Sector, and in the same year I participated in a workshop "A tavola con la regina" in collaboration with the ITO studio for the visit in Italy of Queen Elizabeth II. From 2001 to 2003 I worked in the studio Arnaldi and Gaetani in the engineering and design sector carrying out projects such as: Heco (electromedical equipment for blood tests for Saec), Z10- Z20 (personal machine, credit cards for Matica System), Apollo (X-ray equipment for large hospitals), Ride- on (push machine for children from 0 to 3 years for Plasto).
In 2004, I decided to collaborate as an interior designer with the Bestetti Associati studio, collaborating in the realization of an apartment in Bangkok, the Sheraton Rooms in Catania, and the installations for the Alulife Company. A few years later I decided to set up Studiodieci to realize projects such as Sofalò presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan (2007) and Pitstop presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan (2008).
The desire to amaze and provoke is a salient trait of my character that I will preserve throughout my life, I think.
Today, however, I have more clear my artistic goal, well described by the English neologism "simplexity": to look for simplicity without sacrificing the growing complexity of contemporary society. Being able to conceive objects that, despite the difficulty of the researches that preceded their manufacture, find their commercial strength in the simplicity of design, is the same for me to score the most subtle of provocations.
